Chocolate Coconut Bars

At 135 calories per square these chocolate coconut bars make a great tasty snack you wont feel guilty about eating!

Chocolate Coconut BarsIngredients:

  • 400g Dates
  • 1 scoop #FitGirl Chocolate Complete Protein
  • 20g cocoa powder
  • 75g desiccated coconut (save a little for topping)
  • 35g sunflower seeds (save 5g for topping)
  • 2 tbsp Honey
  • water

Method:

  • add all the ingredients (not the topping) to a food processor
  • add 2 tbsp water
  • mix until smooth adding a little water as you need to
  • grease a square tin and line with non stick paper
  • spread the mixture in the tin. It should be thick and stodgy
  • press down. Add the toppings and press down firmly
  • place in the fridge for 10mins to chill
  • cut into 16 squares and keep chilled
