Sweet Potato Pizza Base

Make your own pizza with this healthy sweet potato base pizza recipe. Tasty, healthy and low in calories.

Sweet Potato Base Pizza

Ingredients:

  • 1 sweet potato pealed and diced
  • Rye flour (or flour of choice)
  • Toppin

Method:

  • Preheat the oven to 200°c
  • Microwave the sweet potato until soft
  • Mash
  • Mix in a little flour at a time until it makes a dough
  • Dust a baking tray with flour
  • Roll out the pizza base
  • Cook for 8-10 minutes
  • Remove from the oven, spread over some passata, add toppings of choice
  • Bake until golden brown
